Creating the perfect home office, one which functions as it should and allows us to actually get stuck into some proper work has never been so important.

Selecting the correct type, style and size of workstation for your needs is particularly important. Ensure you opt for a desk which is large enough to accommodate all the technical equipment you require as well as leaving you space to write.

Think about the height of your workstation and whether you would prefer to be sitting or standing to work. There are a whole host of desks on the market to accommodate a wide selection of needs.

However, if you can’t find one to exactly fit your space you could always have one made specifically. Choosing a comfortable chair can make the difference between a space at which you are happy to spend hours working at and one which you dread.

There are a whole host of chairs on the market which could suit a home office, you no longer need to be limited to the classic computer chair design. Consider the height of the chair in relation to the desk and whether this will provide a comfortable working position.
